EVE
A photography lead publication for COP26 on the impacts of food waste. The publication was the first issue of a series of publications under the same name, each raising a different issue on the environment.
The name, Eve, meaning ‘life’, came from the idea of Eve in the Garden of Eden. The cycle of life began metaphorically with her, and the rot she brought into the world with it.
One third of all food produced is wasted. 1.3 billion tons. The contribution to climate change is apparent and real.
But decomposition is a part of the cycle of life, and creation and beauty can spring from it. If we minimise our waste, and throw away correctly, we help the cycle of life. This publication teaches us how we can do it.
